Opened in January 2015, Team Hen was established to offer an alternative to the garish and tacky Hen Party paraphernalia so widely available on the high street.

I’m Danielle, and I’m the founder and creative director. After organising my best friends Hen party, I  quickly realised our options were limited; everything was cheap, tacky and over the top. With my background in IT I designed and had made some favours for the event – and so Team Hen was born.

We design and make modern hen party gifts, accessories and decorations for brides and their maids, from beautiful handmade sashes, to beach-ready baseball caps and everything in between.

Team Hen believes hen parties needn’t be tacky and garish; we hope to offer brides, who don’t want flashing badges or glittery tiaras, something a little more subtle.

We pride ourselves on quality, handmade items, that you just cannot find elsewhere.

As a mum to two young children I know how crucial flexible working is; so when it was time for Team Hen to expand, I made a decision to exclusively employ local mums.

From packing and dispatching the days orders around the school runs, to hand-making our beautiful wish bracelets and hair ties from home around nap times; in the words of Beyoncé “we run this Mother”.

Our close-knit team of 5 work flexibly and effectively around each other, producing high quality products and customer service that is second to none.

Danielle Kendall

Founder & Creative Director
Danielle studied at Loughborough University, and went on to have a career in IT. After having children she decide to setup her own business, to fulfil her creative side. Danielle relishes being Creative Director and will generally be found designing new products on her laptop, which doesn't leave her side! Danielle has two children, Harriet & Edward to keep her busy when she's not running her empire.

Fiona Carr

Marketing Manager
Fiona is a former HR heavyweight, with a passion for customer service. After having her children Fiona wanted to be hands-on and is always first to volunteer for her kids school trips. Danielle & Fiona met by chance, and Fiona has been an invaluable member of the team ever since. Fiona is the ultimate professional, and has recently taken on Team Hen's Facebook management. She is mum to Mason & Taylor-May, and 2 huge dogs!

Nikki Hunt

Operations Manager
Nikki worked in Events in London, before moving to Milton Keynes shortly after having her daughter, Emmy. She was Team Hen's very first employee after initially being hired to make our best selling wish bracelets. Nikki has recently joined the office team, and has brought some much needed organisation to the office! Outside of work, Nikki & her family enjoy exploring the country and are always doing something fun!

Harriet Stockwin

Social Media & PR Intern
Harriet is Team Hen's newest employee, but has quickly become one of the team. Harriet's passion is PR and Social Media, and can usually be found dredging the internet for the latest craze to sweep Instagram. She is bang on trend and keeps our Instagram & Pinterest looking on point. As a huge 'Skinnydip London' fan, Harriet keeps us all young, and coveting the items on our social media feeds!
